Introducing Khuha Sawan Cave, a captivating and awe-inspiring attraction located in Phattalung. This jewel of a cave is renowned for its beauty and historical significance. With two entrances, visitors can easily explore the wonders within. The Coliseum facing entrance is suggested due to the presence of friendly yet protective dogs guarding the temple. Once inside, visitors are greeted by a mesmerizing pond nestled within the Buddhist temple cave. The cave itself is adorned with stalactites hanging from the lofty ceiling, creating a mystical atmosphere. Additionally, a collection of meditating Buddhas of varying sizes, including a grand statue and a slumbering one, adds to the allure. For those seeking adventure, there is a hidden bat cave to discover and steps leading to an abandoned temple area and a viewpoint. Khuha Sawan Cave is a must-visit destination for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

Khuha Sawan Cave is located in Wat Khuha Sawan. Parking: You can park at your leisure. (Didn't see a clear sign indicating where to park.) The entrance and temple area didn't look clean, there was a lot of bird droppings, it looked like they hadn't been taken care of as they should. The inside of the cave looks better. The lighting in the cave is good. The cave looks beautiful, but I'm surprised there are no tourists.
Peaceful, shady, clean.
Beautiful...peaceful and cool
Peaceful and cool 🙏🏻🙇♂️ …
It is a peaceful, shady place, suitable for worshiping Buddha and asking for blessings.
It is definitely one of the best attractions in Phattalung. There are two entrances but the easiest one is from Coliseum facing entrance. This is because there many dogs guarding the Wat so they can be a little bit aggressive sometimes. Seems like they know that you are the tourist.
This place is totally recommended !
Anyone passing through Phatthalung can stop by to pay homage at Tham Khuha Sawan Temple. It is a very beautiful stalactite cave.
